How to Report Match Results and Handle Disputes
After a match, one captain reports the score and the other confirms it. Matching reports finish the match and move the winner on; conflicting reports open a dispute for the organizer. Attach screenshots or replays as proof. On Nameless Arena an unanswered report is confirmed automatically after a short window, so one absent captain cannot stall a bracket.
Reporting a score
Open the match room after the series and enter the score in games (for example 2-1 in a best of 3). Add proof: up to ten screenshots, or for Rocket League, ballchasing.com replay links that the Arena reads and matches to the two teams.
The other captain then confirms or disputes. If both reports agree, the match is final and the winner is placed into the next match straight away.
Auto-confirm
If the other captain does not answer, the report is confirmed automatically when the confirmation window closes. On Nameless Arena the window is 10 minutes unless the organizer sets it longer (up to a day for league play). You get a reminder halfway through.
Disputes
If the two reports disagree, or a captain disputes with a reason, the match becomes a dispute and the organizers are notified. A good dispute message says what happened, which game, and points to the proof.
Organizers can take the dispute, review the proof and set the result. They can also correct a result after the fact if an error is found.
Tips for organizers
Disputes are rare when expectations are clear.
- Require proof for every report in your rules
- Say how disconnects, wrong settings and late arrivals are handled
- For streamed matches, you can have organizers report instead of players
- Answer disputes in the order they arrive and explain your decision

- What if the other captain never confirms?
