The Bigger Picture
Six weeks. Six different champions. No team had won more than once in Season 1, and frusta (a Spain/France lineup competing in a North America online bracket) had just added their name to the list. It was a result that said something about what Rocket Rush had become: an open series where geography was no barrier to competition.
frusta's 32-point win, combined with points accumulated in prior weeks, shot them up the standings. Led Tasso appeared in the top 16 for the first time, placing 9th–12th. The team — vBell. (Canada), kristian (Canada), and jer (Canada), would become a name to watch as the season moved toward its close.
Three weeks remained in the regular season. The championship qualification race was still unsettled.
