The Bigger Picture
Resonal and Lev had already been competing together during the pre-season: the pair were on Rotating Up!, who finished second in pre-season Week 5. Now with scythe added, they claimed Week 3 under the Champions 2021 Vandal name. Their chemistry across multiple events was becoming a pattern the rest of the field would have to account for.
Latam Threat's Grand Final appearance was the standout moment for Latin American Rocket League in the season to date. A fully Colombian lower-bracket lineup reaching the final of a 59-team event is a result that doesn't happen without genuine quality. UTSA Varsity's consecutive top-four finish (they also placed 9th–12th in Week 2) showed a collegiate program with consistent competitive depth.
