The Bigger Picture

Week 1 established Plate up as early Season 1 leaders. ZAVE Esports, a team with roots tracing back to the pre-season weeklies, announced themselves as immediate championship contenders with a Grand Final appearance. Vivimos en Texcoco's third place was one of the first strong results for a Latin American team in Season 1.

With 20 points in the bank from Week 1 alone, Plate up held the early advantage, but in a nine-week season, it was a long way from over.
